Government.
The Canadian Government and Defence Intelligence have worked closely together in the past. In the fall of 2008, alongside various key government departments and agencies, Defence Intelligence helped to ensure that Canadian government networks would be protected from the Kaminsky DNS cache poisoning vulnerability.
Because the security of government agencies is so critical and their networks such likely targets, Defence Intelligence provides alternate products and services specifically configured to meet the higher levels required of government network security.
Many existing security solutions have very specific approaches to detecting or preventing system compromise. Each solution, while resulting in advancement to computer and network security, is incomplete as a standalone solution. As malicious software advances, so must the products that combat it.
